Morson Edge Recruitment are currently representing a leading fire protection business seeking a skilled and experienced Passive Fire Installer to join their team!

As a Passive Fire Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and rectification of passive fire protection systems across a range of commercial and industrial buildings.

With over 50 years in the fire protection industry, they’ve built a strong reputation and wealth of knowledge across all areas of fire. Working with councils, commercial and residential buildings, strata agencies, national contracts and government clients, you’ll be joining an experienced team with a diverse range of projects and long-term opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Installation and maintenance of passive fire protection systems in accordance with relevant building codes, standards and specifications.
• Installation of fire stopping, fire-rated sealants, collars, wraps, fire pillows and other passive fire products.
• Identifying and rectifying defects in passive fire systems to ensure compliance.
• Accurately interpreting technical drawings, specifications and fire-stopping requirements.
• Using hand and power tools to complete installation and rectification works.
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within project timelines.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and tidy work environment.
• Liaising professionally with clients, builders and other trades on site.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in passive fire installation, fire stopping or fire protection.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of relevant fire protection standards and installation requirements.
• Valid driver's licence
• Relevant trade qualifications or tickets are highly regarded.

Location: Sydney
Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday
Pay:$45 – $55 per hour + super + vehicle
