St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc. (St John NT) is the Territory’s leading provider in emergency medical response and preparedness. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Motor Mechanic to join our team in servicing our emergency services vehicles.
Skills and Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A relevant qualification equivalent to an AQF Certificate III (including 2 years of on the job training), or AQF Certificate IV and one year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) work experience
3 years of relevant industry experience may substitute for the formal qualification
Demonstrated experience in maintaining, testing and repairing petrol engines and the mechanical parts of lightweight motor vehicles such as transmissions, suspension, steering and brakes.
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and meet business requirements
Remuneration and Benefits
The successful applicant will receive:
Salary of $84,555.00-$90,956.00. Remuneration will reflect current market conditions. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
