About the Company: One of Australia’s leading tier 1 commercial builders, delivering complex, design‑led projects across commercial, health, education, heritage, defence, and major precinct developments. As Quality & Maintenance Manager, you will ensure compliance with ISO 9001 by establishing, maintaining and improving quality control processes. The role will support project teams by training staff, conducting audits and ensuring consistent implementation of quality standards. The role will also be responsible for defect management and maintenance including managing maintenance quality issues across the Defect Liability Period (DLP) and maintenance lifecycle.
Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Commercial Construction managing quality, risk management and maintenance.
  • Come from a tertiary background in project management, engineering or trade background.
  • Strong understanding of construction quality systems, including ITPs, NCRs, quality audits, and defect prevention methodologies
  • Experience managing DLP processes, including defect tracking, rectification coordination, client communication and close‑out documentation.
  • Ability to lead and influence project teams to drive consistent quality outcomes from early works through to handover
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal delivery teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear quality reports and compliance documentation
  • Experience with tier 1 or tier 2 builders is highly regarded
