Due to continued growth, they're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the operational delivery of the business and help shape its next stage of growth.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring projects move efficiently from sales through to construction and final handover.
Working from the company's head office, you'll oversee key departments including Contract Administration, Drafting, Estimating and Customer Service, while driving operational performance, improving workflows and ensuring exceptional customer outcomes throughout the entire build journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and mentoring the operations team across multiple business functions
• Managing workflow from sales through to construction and project completion
• Monitoring project performance, identifying delays and implementing solutions
• Driving team accountability, performance and KPI outcomes
• Coordinating internal departments to ensure efficient project delivery
• Overseeing contract administration processes and approvals
• Reviewing job margins, forecasting and operational reporting
• Improving systems, processes and workflow efficiencies across the business
• Maintaining exceptional customer service throughout the construction process
• Liaising with consultants, suppliers and regulatory authorities to support project delivery

Job Requirements
We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Proven experience in an Operations Manager or senior leadership role within residential construction
• Strong understanding of Australian residential building processes from sales through to handover
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Excellent organisational and operational management skills
• Strong commercial understanding, including job margins and forecasting
• Experience improving business systems, processes and operational workflows
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant building, construction or management qualifications (preferred)
• Australian working rights
