About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of facilities management, asset services and infrastructure solutions across Australia's Defence sector. They support critical Defence sites through maintenance, asset management and infrastructure programs, delivering safe, reliable and high-quality services across a diverse property portfolio.

About the Role

As a Facilities Asset & Condition Assessor, you will use your knowledge of buildings, maintenance and infrastructure to assess asset condition and support ongoing facilities management activities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site inspections and condition assessments across Defence facilities and infrastructure.

Review, verify and maintain asset information, records and compliance documentation.

Identify maintenance, asset performance and compliance improvement opportunities.

Analyse inspection data, resolve discrepancies and ensure information accuracy.

Prepare reports and provide recommendations to support maintenance and project planning.

Support Defence estate management, maintenance programs and asset planning activities.

Collaborate with contractors, site teams and key stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice asset management processes

Skills & Experience Required

Experience in facilities maintenance, building services or infrastructure

Background in facilities management or property maintenance

Trade qualification or practical maintenance experience preferred

Experience as a Project Officer, Building Surveyor or Insurance Assessor highly regarded

Understanding of building systems including HVAC and fire services

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Experience preparing reports and inspection documentation

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Current Driver's Licence

Australian Citizenship required

Ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance
