Looking for temporary locum work across October and November?
We are currently engaged with a Queensland Government skin cancer screening program delivering preventative health services across South East Queensland.
They are actively looking for General Practitioners and Medical Practitioners with experience in skin cancer screening and dermoscopy to provide skin cancer screening clinics during October and November.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a structured, well-supported environment with no procedural work required.
Clinics are available across:
Brisbane CBD (primarily Tuesday–Thursday)
Greater Brisbane
Sunshine Coast
Gold Coast
The Role:
Conduct skin cancer screening consultations (10–15 minutes per patient)
Screening only – no biopsies or treatment procedures
Standard clinic hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm
An additional 30 minutes paid for setup and 30 minutes paid for pack-up (9 paid hours per full-day clinic)
Some half-day clinic opportunities available in Brisbane CBD
Comprehensive software training and all equipment provided
Travel time and expenses covered where applicable

About You?
To be successful, you will have:
Current AHPRA medical registration
Experience in skin cancer screening and dermoscopy (preferred)
A current driver's licence for clinics outside Brisbane CBD
This opportunity is particularly suited to doctors undertaking Dermatology training, offering exposure to a high volume of skin examinations in a supportive, low-pressure screening environment. The participant group consists largely of indoor workers, providing valuable experience in recognising normal skin and identifying suspicious lesions.
