Randstad is currently working with an exciting client to find a Immersive Technology Support Analyst - Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality (VR / AR) on an initial contract until June 2027 with potential of extension. This role can be based in either Brisbane or Gold Coast Queensland with WFH flexibility. Occasional travel may be required.

Pay Rate: $69.21 to $75.09 an hour + super (A05 Pay Rate). Annual Equivalent Approx $120k to $140k + super.
Weekly Hours: 36.25 hours per week

Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Immersive Technology Support Analyst to drive the adoption and smooth operation of virtual and augmented reality solutions. In this exciting role, you will bridge the gap between complex hardware systems and end users, delivering hands-on training and technical support to build confidence and enhance digital capabilities. Key Duties:

Drive the successful adoption of immersive technologies by facilitating practical, hands-on training and technical guidance for end users.

Support the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and testing of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) hardware, software, and systems.

Provide high-level technical support services to troubleshoot and resolve issues with immersive technology applications.

Prepare comprehensive guidelines, training procedures, technical documentation, security assessments, and status reports.

Manage device administration and collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure software is bug-free and meets user specifications.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

Strong technical understanding (or a proven ability to quickly acquire technical mastery) in operating and configuring VR/AR headsets and hardware.

Demonstrated experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting complex immersive hardware, systems, or platforms.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and deliver engaging training sessions.

Strong self-management and organisational skills, with the ability to schedule travel, manage logistics, and prioritize workloads independently.

A collaborative mindset with a proven ability to foster a positive team culture and work effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
