Your role

• Provide technical support for a particular line of hydraulic valves and pumps to the internal sales team and external customers
• Participate in the business planning process to identify potential application opportunities for the product line
• Support the engineering team with technical documentation on this product line
• Be able to jump in and complete tasks with the engineering team e.g. CAD design under supervision when the team is stretched capacity wise
• Represent the company during introductory meetings for targeted customer accounts requiring specialized engineering support this product line
• Complete all documentation and tasks in line with policies and procedures of the Company Quality Management System

About you

• A background in mechanical systems with a strong preference for hydraulic systems. Not necessarily a professional engineer. A trades or drafting background with a Cert IV or Diploma would be ideal.
• Around 3 years' experience in an engineering role governed by Australian Standards
• Knowledge of fluid power products including their application and service requirements highly valued
• Ability to interpret hydraulic system design schematics, drawings and service documentation
• Experience in CAD software (Inventor)
