Role scope: Intermediate Accountant, Business Services

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for businesses, trusts, partnerships - monthly, quarterly & EOY reporting
• Working with cloud-based accounting platforms such as Xero, MYOB
• Supporting tax planning and business advisory engagements, including in-person client meetings alongside senior teammates
• Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, liaise with ATO to best support their businesses
• Collaborating with a diverse, high-performing and supportive team

Skills and experience required:

• 2+ years’ experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm
• Current and ongoing right to work in Brisbane, Australia
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience with clients that are businesses & trusts
• Excellent written and verbal communication
