Children's Dance, Fitness & Movement Instructor (Contractor)
School Hours | Weekdays | Parramatta & Western Sydney NSW
🌈 Build your own school-hours business with Happy Feet Fitness!
Imagine getting paid to sing, dance, tell stories, perform magic and inspire young children through movement every day.
Happy Feet Fitness is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and business-minded person to join our NSW team as an independent contractor, delivering our award-winning, play-based movement program to babies, toddlers and preschoolers in early childhood education and care centres.
You'll help children build confidence, coordination and a lifelong love of movement while creating a rewarding and flexible career around your lifestyle.
What You'll Be Doing
Every day is different! You'll visit early childhood centres during school hours to deliver fun, high-energy 30-minute classes using:
🎵 Music, movement and dance
✨ Magic, puppets and exciting props
🦖 Imaginative storytelling and adventures
🤸 Games, fitness and fundamental movement skills
🌈 Play-based learning that supports children's development
One class might involve exploring outer space, while the next takes children on a dinosaur adventure or an under-the-sea expedition. If you enjoy performing, using your imagination and making children laugh, you'll love this role.
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting growth opportunity in the Parramatta and Western Sydney area, with the advantage of taking over a small number of existing classes from an experienced Happy Feet Instructor while working alongside our NSW State Manager to grow your own regular schedule.
You'll initially take over classes in Winston Hills, Girraween, and Pemulwuy, with further opportunities to build your timetable across the surrounding Parramatta area.
We already have new centre enquiries, existing relationships and further growth opportunities in the area, giving you a great foundation to build from.
You'll work closely with our experienced NSW State Manager to develop relationships with early childhood centres and grow towards a regular schedule of 15+ weekly classes across 3–5 weekdays during school hours.
Business development and relationship building is a core part of the role, so please be aware that this is not simply a teaching position. You'll be building your own business and actively contributing to its growth, with support from your manager and the Happy Feet team.
Availability
To take over the existing classes and make the most of the current growth opportunities, you'll need to be available:
Mondays
Thursdays
Ideally an additional Tuesday or Wednesday
All classes are delivered during school hours, with no evenings required.
Income
As an independent contractor, you'll operate your own Happy Feet Fitness business under license.
Earn between $50 and $200 per 30-minute class delivered (after licensing fees)!
Grow your income as your regular timetable grows
Receive full training, mentoring and ongoing support
As with any contractor opportunity, your income has the potential to grow as you establish and deliver more regular classes.
This Role Could Be Perfect If You...
Love working with babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children
Have an energetic, confident and engaging personality
Enjoy performing, teaching or presenting to groups of children
Enjoy meeting new people and building strong relationships
Are organised, reliable and self-motivated
Have a business mindset and enjoy creating opportunities
Are excited by the opportunity to build and grow your own business
