Mercure Albury is seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Casual Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is available to work a mix of breakfast and dinner shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.

About the Role

As a Casual Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to a high standard while maintaining a clean, safe and efficient kitchen. You'll work across both breakfast and evening service, ensuring guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook breakfast and dinner menu items.

Ensure food is presented to a consistently high standard.

Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Assist with stock rotation and minimise food waste.

Keep the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with health regulations.

Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team.

Assist with food preparation and kitchen operations as required.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience as a Cook in a hotel, restaurant or café environment.

Availability to work both early morning breakfast shifts and evening dinner shifts.

A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

The ability to work independently and within a team.

Knowledge of food safety and safe food handling practices.

Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varying shifts.
