What You’ll Need

A current Federal Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) is required for this role.

Reliability, attention to detail, and a caring attitude

Key attributes and responsibilities

Previous experience as a kitchen manager/head chef.

3+ years' experience in a similar role.

Commercial cookery background or Hospitality Industry qualification desirable

Demonstrated and proven budget and cost management experience.

Previous experience in the design and implementation of nutritionally adequate

Needs to have the ability to self-motivate and work independently.

An understanding of Accreditation standards

Empathy towards guests, staff and clients.

Ability to lead the kitchen team.

Produce high quality, nutritious and well-presented meals in line with aged care food service guidelines.

Be responsible for rostering and day to day supervision/management of team members.

Excellent client liaison and communication skills
