Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and contractual support on commercial, trading, dispute, and compliance matters.
- Review, draft, negotiate, and finalize trading, commercial, and related legal documentation.
- Advise internal stakeholders on contractual risks, legal obligations, and compliance requirements.
- Liaise with external legal counsel, consultants, and regional legal teams on complex commercial matters and disputes.
- Support the review and negotiation of long-term agreements, including master agreements and offtake agreements.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for contracts, legal documents, and related correspondence.
- Assist in the development and delivery of legal and contractual training for business stakeholders.
- Provide general legal and contract administration support as required.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer admitted to the Singapore Bar or UK Bar.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualified experience (PQE) gained in a law firm, multinational corporation, or commercial in-house legal environment.
- Experience in contract drafting, review, negotiation, and legal advisory work.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, dispute management, and compliance requirements.
- Prior exposure to liquid bulk contracts, international trade, or arbitration is an added advantage.
- Strong English drafting, advisory, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Meticulous approach to legal documentation and compliance processes.
