MARS Recruitment is partnering with a boutique restructuring and insolvency advisory firm to recruit a Supervisor / Senior Manager to join their growing Sydney team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency and restructuring engagements.
• Assist with and lead a range of formal appointments including Liquidations, Voluntary Administrations and Small Business Restructuring matters.
• Prepare and review reports, statutory documentation, investigations and stakeholder correspondence.
• Liaise with directors, creditors, accountants, legal advisers and other stakeholders throughout appointments.
• Manage day-to-day engagement activities, ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and deadlines are met.
• Support junior team members through coaching, mentoring and technical guidance.
• Assist with business development initiatives and maintaining referral relationships.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and the continued growth of the insolvency practice.
• Work closely with senior leadership on a variety of restructuring and advisory engagements.

About You:

• Minimum 2 years' experience within corporate insolvency and restructuring.
• Open to candidates at Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager level.
• Previous experience within Business Services, Advisory or a commercial finance environment prior to moving into insolvency will be highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of insolvency legislation and appointment processes.
• Ability to manage engagements with an appropriate level of supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident interacting with directors, business owners and professional advisers.
• Organised, proactive and commercially minded.
• CA, CPA and/or ARITA qualifications (or progress towards) will be highly regarded.

To Note:

• Salary package between $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.
