The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Electrical Graduate Engineer who will support the delivery of quality assurance and quality control activities across electrical works on a power infrastructure project. The role focuses on assisting with inspection and testing processes, managing non-conformance records, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
This is a 2-year offering full lifecycle ownership—from design and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover.
The project involves:
· Relocation of 132kV transmission infrastructure
· Construction of 33kV distribution networks
· Complex brownfield works in a live operational environment
· Critical shutdown and tie-in execution
The role will be site based on 2 weeks on and one week off roster ex Perth.

Key Responsibilities
Support the development, review, and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for electrical installations
Assist in coordinating and undertaking site inspections and testing to verify compliance with design drawings, specifications, and standards
Develop an understanding of and assist in executing electrical test procedures, including insulation resistance, continuity, and functional testing
Review and verify inspection and test documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and traceability
Identify and report non-conforming work and assist in raising Non-Conformance Records (NCRs)
Support investigation of quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions
Track and assist with the close-out of NCRs in line with project requirements
Maintain and manage quality documentation and records in accordance with document control processes
Liaise with the project team to coordinate inspections and resolve quality issues
Ensure all works comply with relevant standards (e.g. AS/NZS), project specifications, and client requirements
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing and providing required documentation
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through analysis of defects and quality trends
Promote a strong quality and safety culture across all project activities
What you will bring
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or nearing completion)
Basic understanding of electrical systems in power infrastructure (e.g. substations, HV/LV systems)
Knowledge of quality processes, ITPs, and inspection practices (desirable)
Strong attention to detail and ability to review technical documentation
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Ability to work both on-site and within a project team environment
