Base Salary: circa $160,000 negotiable + profit share + equity opportunity

Energize Electrical Safety Management is seeking an experienced and commercially driven General Manager to take full responsibility for the leadership, performance, and growth of the business.

Energize is an established second/third-tier electrical contractor operating throughout South East Queensland across the construction, commercial, industrial, and government sectors.

This role is ideal for someone with strong construction industry experience, existing customer networks, and the ability to bring new work into the business.

The Role

The General Manager will be responsible for leading the company day to day, driving new business, managing key customer relationships, overseeing project delivery, improving systems and procedures, and taking full P&L responsibility.

A key focus of the role will be leveraging existing relationships with builders, developers, consultants, facility managers, government clients, and other construction industry contacts to generate new opportunities and grow revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business through existing customer and industry networks.

Build and manage relationships with builders, developers, consultants, and key clients.

Take responsibility for company performance, profitability, and P&L.

Lead and manage the internal team and project delivery.

Improve systems, procedures, reporting, and business processes.

Support tendering, estimating, and commercial decision-making.

Ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to a high standard.

About You

You will have experience in construction, electrical contracting, or a related trade services business, with a proven ability to build relationships and win work.

Estimating and project management experience would be highly regarded.

You will be commercially focused, hands-on, confident with customers, and capable of leading a team while driving business growth.

What We Offer

Base salary circa $160,000 negotiable.
