At Lives Lived Well, we believe in supporting people to live healthy, connected and fulfilling lives. We're looking for a highly organised and community-minded Administration & Events Officer to join our Northern Adelaide Veterans' & Families' Hub.
This is more than an administration role. You'll be the welcoming face of the Hub, helping veterans and their families feel supported from the moment they walk through the door, while also coordinating events, supporting community engagement initiatives, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the service.

About the role
As the Administration & Events Officer, you'll provide administrative, operational and event support to ensure the smooth running of the Hub. You will work closely with the Centre Manager, clinical team, volunteers, and community stakeholders to create a welcoming and engaging environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality administrative and reception support.
- Welcoming and assisting veterans, families, and visitors to the Hub.
- Coordinating meetings, training sessions, and community events.
- Preparing reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and documentation.
- Supporting quality improvement, audit, compliance, and WHS activities.
- Assisting with social media content and event promotion.
- Coordinating venue bookings, catering, suppliers, and event logistics.
- Maintaining client records and administrative systems.
- Supporting volunteer engagement and event delivery.
- Assisting with facility and vehicle management requirements.
- Providing short-term supervision of children in the Hub's play area when required.
About you
You are a proactive and organised professional who enjoys building positive relationships and creating exceptional experiences for others.
You'll bring:
- Experience providing high-quality administrative support in a busy environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence prioritising competing tasks and managing multiple activities.
- Experience coordinating events, meetings, or community activities.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
- A professional, welcoming, and customer-focused approach.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
Desirable
- Qualifications in Administration, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working in the community, health, or not-for-profit sector.
- Photography skills or an interest in capturing community events.
- Experience using Canva or similar content creation tools.
What you'll need
- Current Australian Driver Licence.
- Working With Children Check.
- Ability to undertake occasional travel as required.
- Evidence required under Lives Lived Well's applicable vaccination policies.
