EnerSafe (RTO 91293), part of Service Stream, is a nationally recognised Registered Training Organisation specialising in Electrical Supply Industry (ESI), safety, rescue and First Aid training across Australia.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand across the utilities and infrastructure sectors, we are seeking experienced Electrical Supply Industry professionals to join our trainer network in Victoria.
This opportunity is ideal for experienced field workers, supervisors or authorised persons who are passionate about sharing their industry knowledge and supporting the next generation of ESI workers.
Candidates who already hold their Certificate IV in Training & Assessment are encouraged to apply, however experienced industry professionals willing to obtain the qualification will also be considered.
About the Role
Reporting to the RTO Operations Team, responsibilities include:
Delivering nationally recognised training programs across the Electrical Supply Industry
Conducting practical and theory-based training and assessments
Maintaining accurate training and assessment records using digital systems and LMS platforms
Supporting compliance and quality assurance processes
Participating in trainer meetings, development activities and continuous improvement initiatives
Delivering training at EnerSafe facilities and client sites across Victoria
Training delivery is supported through modern digital systems to streamline administration requirements.
Suitable Background
We encourage applications from candidates with experience in:
ESI safety rules and electrical network access
Safe approach distances and working safely near live electrical apparatus
Electrical network and power awareness
Distribution and ESI operational training
Cable jointing and related ESI competencies
Working at heights and access-related training
Low Voltage (LV) rescue and release
Pole top rescue
EWP escape and rescue
First Aid and CPR in an ESI environment
VESI-related safety and refresher training
Asset inspection and testing
You do not need to have experience across all of these areas. We welcome applications from industry professionals with strong experience in one or more areas relevant to EnerSafe’s training scope.
Requirements
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122 / TAE40116) or willingness to obtain
Relevant Electrical Supply Industry qualifications and industry experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Current Australian Driver’s Licence
Ability to travel to client sites where required
Australian working rights
