A leading manufacturing business with a strong reputation for quality, operational excellence, and customer service. With a large-scale operation and complex distribution requirements, the business is looking for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join their Brisbane-based team and play a key role in coordinating efficient transport and delivery operations.

The Role

• Coordinate daily transport planning and scheduling to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
• Work closely with production, warehouse, transport providers, and customers to coordinate movements and delivery requirements.
• Plan and optimise transport routes, vehicle utilisation, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor transport activities and proactively manage any delays, issues, or changes to the schedule.
• Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve transport efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
• Ensure transport activities are completed in line with safety, compliance, and operational requirements.

Your Background

• Previous experience in a Transport Coordinator, Transport Planner, or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of transport planning, scheduling, and coordinating deliveries. Experience working closely with production and warehouse teams to align transport requirements.
• Experience using transport management systems, planning software, or ERP systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• A background in manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar operational environment will be highly regarded.
