We're looking for an experienced AWS Security Solution & Engineering Specialist to join a high-performing team delivering secure, scalable and resilient cloud platforms supporting business-critical systems.

This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud security, collaborating with architects, engineers and delivery teams to embed security into every stage of the platform lifecycle. From modern containerised applications to enterprise-scale AWS environments, you'll play a key role in driving secure-by-design outcomes and influencing strategic technology decisions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement AWS security controls across cloud platforms and applications
  
• Embed security into DevSecOps pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and operational processes.
• Provide expert technical leadership on cloud security, governance and risk management.
• Drive best practice across vulnerability management, monitoring, logging and incident response.
• Mentor team members and contribute to capability uplift through coaching and knowledge sharing.

Key Skills Needed:

Provide architecture direction for AWS services such as:

Lambda,

ECS/Fargate,

API Gateway,

Aurora,

EventBridge,

EC2,

Kinesis and related cloud services.

Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and patterns.

Experience delivering structured knowledge transfer and capability uplift to teams through hands-on demonstrations, on-the-job training, and targeted one on one mentoring or buddy arrangements.

Ability to provide technical leadership, assurance and pragmatic advice to resolve complex platform and security challenges

A proactive approach to continuous improvement, including evaluation of technologies, tools and processes to uplift capability

Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence secure delivery outcomes across multi-disciplinary teams
