About the role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Partner to join AG ASSURANCE PAC on a part-time basis, based in our City Hall Central Region office. The part-time arrangement offers flexibility whilst allowing you to maintain a significant presence within the firm and contribute to its continued success.

Key responsibilities

Leading and directing external audit engagements for major clients, ensuring compliance with relevant auditing standards and regulatory requirements

Assuming overall responsibility for audit quality, methodology and the delivery of timely, insightful audit reports

Reviewing and approving audit documentation, ensuring comprehensive and rigorous audit procedures are conducted throughout all engagements

Supporting the firm's quality assurance and compliance frameworks, including participation in audit quality reviews and risk management initiatives

Keeping abreast of developments in auditing standards, regulatory changes and industry best practices

What we're looking for

A professional qualification in accounting (such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with proven experience as an audit partner or senior audit manager within an external audit environment

Extensive experience conducting external audits across diverse industries and client types, demonstrating deep knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements

Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of articulating complex audit matters clearly to diverse audiences

Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and corporate governance frameworks

Preferred: Experience with audit quality reviews, compliance frameworks and continuous professional development .
