Position overview

Are you an energetic person who thrives on providing quality service to library users? Do you have an understanding of acquisition and cataloguing processes in a library environment? If you do and you are well organised, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to liaise with abroad range of people, and are committed to a team approach, we would welcome your application to work at the Australian National University Library.

As part of the Collection Access & Discovery stream, the Officer, Library Technical Services supports the acquisitions, cataloguing and organisation of scholarly information resources in all languages and formats. This position also participates in rostered information services.

The Area:

The University Library is a key piece of research infrastructure for researchers and students. The Collection Access and Discovery functional area of the Library manages acquisitions, access, systems and metadata. This position contributes to the University Library through participating in the acquisition, cataloguing and organisation of scholarly information resources that support the University’s teaching and research programs.
