About the Company
Our client, a well-established freight forwarding company backed by a leading global logistics group, is looking for a hands-on Senior Executive, Finance to join on a 6-month contract, supporting full sets of accounts across multiple entities. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys a fast-paced, multinational logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full sets of accounts for multiple entities within the group
Handle month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations
Prepare intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
Prepare and submit GST, ECI and XBRL filings in compliance with statutory requirements
Liaise with external auditors and prepare supporting audit schedules
Work closely with regional and HQ stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Requirements
3-5 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, ideally within a multinational or shared services environment, capable in handling full sets of accounts
Proficient in accounting/ERP systems
Strong understanding of Singapore statutory and tax compliance requirements
Meticulous, organised, and able to manage multiple entities/deadlines simultaneously
Immediate to short notice availability preferred
