Key Responsibilities:

1. Attend to all requests from customers for car grooming jobs. Car grooming includes external and internal beautification.

2. External grooming includes washing, polishing, waxing and the application of sealant on car surfaces for protection against environmental elements

3. Internal grooming includes vacuuming, leather and upholstery care, oiling of dashboards and washing of engine bay. Eliminating foul smells and insects within the cars are also part of the duties.

4. Make professional and appropriate recommendations to customers on upkeeping or maintaining their cars to pristine conditions

5. Promote customers’ relation and ensure customers’ satisfaction on all jobs or enquiries

6. When needed, assist in service recovery in the event of customer complaints

7. Maintain a warm and friendly relationship with customers

8. Uphold company customer service standards always

9. Premium car washes are part and parcel of the groomer’s responsibilities

10. Opportunity to upsell or recommend grooming to customers of premium car washes.

Requirements:

Certificate in Automotive Technology or relevant field

2 years of working experience in grooming vehicles

Able to withstand the physical demands of the job

Able to handle customers and preferably with the service & hospitality industry

Able to provide customized advice to customers on services needed to beautify his or her car

Knowledgeable about car grooming products and services available in the industry and able to adopt them in CDGE.

Possess a valid driving license
