About the role

Salamanca Fresh is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Store Team Members to join our retail team in Hobart, Tasmania. These are full-time positions (groceries and fresh produce team leader) and casual positions (customer service at registers) that offer exciting opportunities to be part of a dynamic and colourful retail environment where you will contribute to delivering exceptional customer experiences every single day. All Team Members are the face of our brand, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring our customers leave with a smile. These roles is essential to maintaining our high standards of service and driving the success of our store operations.

As a Team Leader you will be experienced in all aspects fresh produce and lead your team to do great things with our carefully nurtured fresh produce.

What we're looking for

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with customers from all backgrounds

A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service and creating positive shopping experiences

Reliability and a positive attitude, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Basic numeracy skills and accuracy in handling transactions and financial matters

Physical capability to perform duties such as standing for extended periods, lifting and carrying stock, and restocking shelves

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required by retail operations

Previous retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not essential for enthusiastic candidates willing to learn

A professional appearance and commitment to maintaining high standards of personal presentation

Ability to remain calm and patient during busy periods and handle customer queries professionally
