We're looking for a skilled and motivated Machine Operator to become an integral part of our manufacturing team. This hands-on role is responsible for operating a range of CNC equipment, managing raw material storage, and ensuring production runs efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.

Working in a modern manufacturing environment, you'll play a key role in producing quality sheet metal components while helping keep our workshop organised and productive.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Setting and operating CNC laser cutter

Setting and operating turret punch press

Setting and operating CNC lathes

Operating CNC bandsaw

Selecting and preparing raw materials for production

Organising and maintaining raw material storage

Monitoring machine performance and product quality

Performing routine machine maintenance

Reading engineering drawings and work instructions

Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

About You

Has experience operating CNC manufacturing equipment

Has excellent organisational skills

Skills & Experience

Ideally you will have:

Experience operating CNC laser cutters and turret punches

Experience with CNC lathes

Experience operating CNC bandsaws

Ability to read engineering drawings

Forklift licence

Experience using measuring equipment

Strong problem-solving skills

Good computer literacy
