An opportunity has become available for a Residential Property Coordinator to join a professional property and facilities team responsible for managing a portfolio of residential accommodation in Canberra.
Your new role
Reporting to the Assistant Facilities Manager - Residential Lead, you will support the delivery of residential property services across a diverse property portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating residential property activities across occupancy, maintenance and property transitions.
- Assisting with move-in and move-out processes, inspections and property readiness activities.
- Supporting property compliance programs, inspections and safety requirements.
- Coordinating contractors and service providers to ensure maintenance works are completed to required standards.
- Responding to resident enquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintaining property records, raising work orders and supporting financial administration activities, including purchase orders and invoices.
- Assisting with reporting, record keeping and compliance documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience in property, facilities or workplace coordination, ideally within a residential environment.
- An understanding of property compliance, health and safety requirements.
- Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and work order or property management systems.
- The ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
