The Racquet Collective is a dedicated pickleball and padel club built around two of the fastest growing sports in the world. We’re after a hands-on Operations Manager to run the day-to-day of the club and drive our social media and marketing. You’ll be the face and voice of the venue, keeping things running smoothly, creating a great experience for members and guests, and filling the courts through standout content and community engagement. This is a varied role that suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves people and sport, and knows how to turn up the energy both in-venue and online. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. While much of the week is focused on day-to-day operations, marketing and growing the club, you'll also be involved in our busiest periods, including evenings and weekends, helping deliver competitions, events and a great member experience.

What You'll Be Doing (Day to Day)

· Run the daily operations – open/close the venue, manage bookings, staff, and ensure the club is always clean, stocked and ready to go.

· Deliver a great customer experience – greet members and guests, handle enquiries, walk-ins and issues, and keep the vibe high.

· Manage the team – roster and lead casual staff, train new team members and keep everyone across standards and updates.

· Social media & content creation – plan, create and post engaging content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

· Grow our community – engage with members online and in person, build relationships and encourage more people to play, join and book.

· Promote & market the club – create weekly promos, event campaigns and partnerships that drive bookings and build brand awareness.

· Plan & run events – organise socials, comps, tournaments and corporate events from idea to execution.

· Track & report – monitor key numbers like court bookings, socials attendance, stock levels and content performance.

· Keep improving – always looking for ways to make the club better, busier and more connected.

What We're Looking For

· 2–3+ years experience in a similar role (operations, venue, hospitality or sports).

· Strong experience in social media and content creation – confident on camera and behind the scenes.

· Great communication and people skills – friendly, approachable and professional.

· Organised, reliable and able to juggle multiple priorities.

· Comfortable with systems like Square, Canva and Meta Business Suite (or similar).

· A genuine interest in sport, community and creating memorable experiences.

· RSA (or willing to obtain).

· Available to work a flexible roster, including some evenings and weekends. As a community-focused sports club, many of our socials, competitions and events take place outside standard business hours, so being present during key club times is an important part of the role.

What We Offer

· Competitive salary package.

· A key leadership role with real ownership and creative freedom.

· The chance to shape and grow a brand-first club in a growing sport.

· A fun, social environment with a passionate community.

If you love sport, people, content and creating great experiences, we'd love to hear from you. Send your resume and a short introduction to ••••@racquetcollective.com.au
