Computer Refurbishment Technician

Location: Erskine Park, NSW
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $33.85 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Computer Refurbishment Technician to join our refurbishment team based in Erskine Park. This is a hands-on role working with laptops and desktop computers, ensuring each device is fully refurbished, tested, cleaned, and ready for deployment or resale.

Key Responsibilities

• LCD screens
• Speakers
• Microphones
• Charging ports and power functionality
• Keyboards and touchpads
• Webcams and other built-in components

• Refurbish laptops and desktop computers to company quality standards.
• Securely wipe data from devices following company procedures.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems based on the make and model of each device.
• Diagnose and test hardware to ensure all components are fully functional, including:
• Inspect and test chargers and all accessories supplied with each device.
• Identify faults and determine whether repairs or part replacements are required.
• Thoroughly clean laptops, computers, and accessories before packaging.
• Pack completed devices safely and accurately for dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Computer Technician, IT Technician, Repair Technician, or Computer Refurbishment Technician is highly regarded.
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems and computer hardware.
• Ability to diagnose hardware faults and carry out testing procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Essential Requirements

• Current Australian driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Current National Police Check (or the ability to obtain one before commencing employment).
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment when required.
