The Firm & The Role

Join a specialist commercial litigation and commercial law firm with an established presence in the Brisbane market. This is an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Law Partner or Special Counsel to lead an established commercial team advising on sophisticated commercial matters.

You will advise clients on commercial risk mitigation, commercial contracts, business, share and asset sales and acquisitions, legal due diligence, confidentiality agreements, term sheets and heads of agreement. The practice acts for clients across a range of industries including property and development, construction and engineering, manufacturing, motor dealers and insurance.

As a senior member of the team, you will play a key role in leading lawyers, mentoring staff and driving the continued growth of the practice.

About You

• 7+ years PAE in commercial law
• Strong experience in commercial transactions and advisory matters
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop a team
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Commercially minded with a practical approach to legal advice
