Job Summary
The Executive Officer / Senior Executive Officer (Curriculum Development) is responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving MENDAKI’s educational programmes. The role ensures curricula and instructional materials are evidence-based, pedagogically sound, and aligned with national standards.
The incumbent is expected to work between 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and may be required to work over weekends and public holidays to support organisation events.
Key Responsibility Areas
Curriculum Design and Development
Develop engaging, standards-aligned curricula, instructional materials, and assessment tools across MENDAKI’s programmes.
Review and update curriculum content to ensure alignment with learning outcomes, MOE syllabuses, and community needs.
Incorporate innovative pedagogies and digital learning strategies into curriculum design.
Collaborate with stakeholders and learning technologists to ensure relevance, inclusivity, and effective digital learning experiences.
Support the digitalisation of curriculum materials and integration of basic learning technologies to enhance online and blended learning delivery.
Capability Building
Develop training resources for tutors and facilitators to strengthen programme delivery and support implementation of new curriculum.
Assist in conducting training sessions for tutors and facilitators.
Develop resource guides, teaching aids, and best-practice toolkits for tutors and facilitators.
Data Tracking
Collect and consolidate quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources (e.g. student performance, attendance, assessments, surveys, facilitator feedback).
Monitor key learning indicators such as progression rates, completion rates, and engagement levels across programmes.
Analyse data to identify learning gaps, trends, and areas for curriculum improvement.
Requirements
Degree in Education, Instructional Design or a related discipline.
Experience working in primary and/or secondary school settings.
Familiarity with authoring tools.
Excellent communication, collaboration and project management skills.
