About the Opportunity

An established commercial builder is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of major construction projects across Brisbane and Southeast Queensland.

With a strong pipeline of secured work, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, managing programme, cost, quality, safety, and stakeholder outcomes across a diverse portfolio.

This opportunity will suit a Project Manager who enjoys leading complex projects while working within a collaborative and highly regarded construction business.

Key Responsibilities

Manage projects from commencement through to practical completion.

Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, procurement plans, and risk registers.

Coordinate project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and key stakeholders.

Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Oversee contract administration, progress claims, variations, and financial reporting.

Monitor project performance and provide regular reporting to senior management.

Foster a strong safety culture across all project activities.

Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Mentor and support Project Engineers, Contract Administrators, and Site Managers.

About You

To be considered, you will possess:

Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects within Australia.

Previous experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer.

Strong knowledge of project financial management, procurement, and contract administration.

Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience working with a recognised commercial builder will be highly regarded.
