Job Description:
Department: Corporate Communication
Report to: Manager
Functional Relationships with: All departments in MES and ASEAN relevant OPA

Position Profile: Based in Singapore.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

· Building comprehensive internal communication strategies, engagement and execution plans aligned to employee engagement and culture that are grounded in communications best practices, and a deep understanding of how the company operates.

· Crafting and delivering impactful contents designed around storytelling principles and human-centric, inclusive language to personalize the narrative in a way that resonate, is relatable, and capture Murata's original culture and values.

· Optimizing internal communication channel to maximise message impact and drive meaningful engagement with internal audiences.

· Improving Communication effectiveness for Murata's ASEAN organizations.

· External reputation management, including Crisis communication.

· Providing consultative communication expertise, support and advice to other functions and management.

· Regularly collecting and analyzing data to support internal stakeholders in understanding performance of communications ‘tactics; adjusting strategies and optimizing approaches based on performance benchmarks.

· Assist in the setup of Regional Functional Centre ASEAN Corpcom function in MES.

· Ad-hoc jobs as assigned by supervisor or Manager.

ABILITY/COMPETENCY REQUIRED:

· The ability to work autonomously whilst being enthusiastic and self -motivated yet effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility and accountability.

· Excellent creative writing and editing skills.

· Strong project management, organization and improvisation skills with high attention and a focus on quality and impact.

· Desire to be flexible and think strategically whilst challenging the traditional way of doing things.
