About the role

We are seeking a talented Social Media Executive to join our marketing and communications team at Cite Design Studio. This is a full-time position based in the Central Region, you may be require to travel to project locations. As a Social Media Executive, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our social media strategy, managing our online presence, and driving engagement across multiple digital platforms. You will be instrumental in building our brand narrative and connecting with audiences in meaningful and authentic ways. This role offers the opportunity to combine creative thinking with data-driven insights to enhance our brand visibility and reputation in the digital landscape.

Key responsibilities

Develop, plan and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand objectives and business goals

Create, curate and schedule engaging content across all social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok and other emerging channels

Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and generate regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations for optimisation

Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Brainstorm & produce visually compelling graphics, videos and multimedia content

Identify and implement emerging social media trends and best practices to keep our brand relevant and competitive

Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting and performance tracking

Monitor competitor social media activity and industry trends to inform strategy adjustments

Contribute to brand consistency across all digital touchpoints and marketing materials

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Social Media Executive, Social Media Manager or similar role within the marketing or communications field, preferably within a creative or design-focused organisation.

Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms and best practices across multiple channels

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, on-brand content

Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Tiktok Studio or similar

Demonstrated experience in content creation, copywriting and visual storytelling

Knowledge of digital marketing trends, hashtag strategies and audience engagement techniques

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically about brand positioning and audience targeting

Experience with graphic design tools or video editing software is advantageous (e.g. Capcut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent) but not essential

Familiarity with the design, advertising or creative industry is preferred

A portfolio or examples of successful social media campaigns is highly desirable
