NT Link is currently seeking applications for a trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic who will be based in Alice Springs.
NT Link is a family owned and independently operated business that specialises in the design and fabrication of transportable commercial and residential buildings.
The Role:
The role of Heavy Vehicle Mechanic repairs, maintains and tests a range of vehicles, trailers, plant and equipment for compliance against the NHVAS and WA maintenance standards.
In this position you will be responsible for conducting servicing and inspections of all vehicles and equipment in the Alice Springs fleet, travelling to remote sites when required to undertake repair work, general maintenance duties and more. You will be the only mechanic based in the Alice Springs team, so must be confident and have the experience and individual drive to work autonomously, however, additional will be provided from the Darwin Workshop team when required.
Working days are typically Monday – Friday, starting your day at 7am, with some weekend work also an option. This role is based in Alice Springs and for the right candidate, we can provide onsite accommodation.

Candidates must hold:
Construction White Card
Trade Qualified in Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics
Current forklift licence (or willing to obtain prior to start)
Heavy Combination Licence (Preferred, not essential)
Working at Heights (renewed in previous 2 years or willingness to obtain)
Current Drivers Licence
Minimum 3 years experience (Required)
