Petcover Aust Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated Claims Consultant to join our dynamic team in Tullamarine, VIC. As a Claims Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and efficiently processing insurance claims for our valued pet owners. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

Reviewing and assessing insurance claims to ensure they are valid and accurate

Communicating with customers to gather any additional information required to process claims

Coordinating with veterinary providers and other stakeholders to facilitate the timely resolution of claims

Providing clear and transparent updates to customers throughout the claims process

Identifying and escalating any complex or suspicious claims for further investigation

Maintaining detailed records and documentation to support the claims handling process

Continuously improving processes and procedures to enhance the customer experience

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a customer service or claims handling role, preferably within the insurance industry

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to accurately review and assess claims

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders

Proficiency in data entry and record-keeping to maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation

A problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically to identify and address any issues or discrepancies

A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a genuine interest in the pet insurance industry

Cert IV Veterinary nursing
