Hays Recruitment are seeking Qualified Carpenters for various projects around the Gold Coast!
Your New Company
Hays Construction is currently partnering with several well-established builders delivering high-end residential homes and commercial construction projects across the Gold Coast.
Your New Role
As a Carpenter, you will be involved in all aspects of general carpentry and construction, working closely with site supervisors and project teams to deliver quality outcomes safely and efficiently.
Duties may include:
- Reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
- Constructing and installing wall frames, floor systems and roof structures.
- Measuring, cutting and assembling timber and other building materials.
- Installing doors, windows, skirting boards, architraves and other finishing elements.
- Carrying out structural and finish carpentry works.
- Assisting with formwork, decking, cladding and external works where required.
- Completing fit-out and refurbishment projects on commercial sites.
- Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment.
- Working alongside trades, subcontractors and site management to meet project deadlines.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Certificate III in Carpentry.
- Construction White Card.
- Own tools and reliable transport.
- Demonstrated experience in residential or commercial carpentry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable work ethic!
