Job Responsibilities:
Manage supplier quality performance and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualify and approve new suppliers, materials and manufacturing processes.
Conduct supplier audits, assessments and process evaluations to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Lead supplier quality issue resolution through 8D, CAPA, RCA, 5-Why and FMEA methodologies.
Review and approve quality documentation, including Control Plans, FMEA, Process Flow, PPAP/FAI and inspection records where applicable.
Investigate incoming material non-conformances and work closely with suppliers on corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor supplier KPIs, analyse quality trends and implement improvement plans.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI), engineering change management and supplier qualification activities.
Partner with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing and Customer Quality teams to ensure a robust supplier quality system.
Ensure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements and industry regulations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Quality within the semiconductor, electronics, precision engineering or high-tech manufacturing industry.
Hands-on experience with:
Supplier audits and supplier development
SCAR, 8D, CAPA and Root Cause Analysis
Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
FMEA, SPC and quality improvement tools
Familiar with quality management systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or other relevant standards.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external suppliers.
