About the role

Crafted Smiles Studio is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic dental environment located in Elermore Vale, NSW 2287. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental practitioners and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care and a positive experience. What you'll be doing

Your key responsibilities as a Dental Assistant will include:

Preparing and sterilising dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols

Assisting dental practitioners during patient treatments and procedures

Welcoming patients and ensuring they feel comfortable in our practice environment

Managing patient scheduling and appointment coordination

Maintaining a clean and organised treatment area

Processing patient payments and managing administrative tasks

Supporting the overall smooth operation of the dental practice

What we're looking for

To succeed in this role, you will ideally possess the following skills, qualifications and experience:

Formal qualification as a Dental Assistant or equivalent experience in a dental environment is highly regarded

Availabilty to work on Wednesdays and Thursdays is a must

Strong knowledge of dental procedures and infection control standards

Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach

High level of manual dexterity and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting

Organisational skills and the ability to multitask

Proficiency in dental practice management software

Professional and courteous manner with patients and team members
