Benchmark Geotechnical is a rapidly growing company based in Western Sydney, specialising in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) and Geotechnical Engineering. As we continue to expand, we are looking for motivated and capable Geotechnicians / Soil Technicians to join our team, working across both field sites and our laboratory in Minchinbury.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct field density testing using Nuclear Density & Moisture Gauges

· Perform Level 1 supervision, testing, and site inspections

· Collect and handle material samples from field locations

· Undertake laboratory-based material testing

· Assist with calibration and maintenance of testing equipment

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in soil testing

Ability to interpret and analyse test results

Familiarity with AS, TfNSW, and Sydney Water test methods and specifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Minimum Requirements

· Working rights in Australia

· Driver’s Licence and Radiation Licence (highly regarded)

· Physically Fit and able to lift 20kg consistently
