The Content Manager is responsible for developing compelling narratives and meaningful visitor experiences across exhibitions, galleries, print, and multimedia projects. Working from the project brief, this role researches, curates, and structures content into engaging storylines that communicate ideas clearly while creating memorable audience experiences.

The Content Manager works closely with clients, subject-matter experts, designers, multimedia teams, and account servicing to ensure content is seamlessly integrated throughout the visitor journey. Beyond research and content development, the role requires strong creative thinking, copywriting, and the ability to explore fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to storytelling. The Content Manager also presents narrative concepts, facilitates content discussions with stakeholders, and ensures consistency, accuracy, and quality throughout project development.

Responsiblities

Interpret project briefs and develop content strategies, narratives, and visitor experiences

Research, curate, and synthesise information into engaging and audience-appropriate content

Develop storylines, copy, and interpretive content for exhibitions, galleries, print, and multimedia projects

Collaborate with creative, multimedia, and project teams to integrate content seamlessly into the overall visitor experience

Present content concepts and narrative approaches to clients and stakeholders

Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout project development

Support pitches, proposals, and concept presentations through content development and storytelling

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in content development, copywriting, curation, or storytelling

Experience developing content for exhibitions, galleries, museums, visitor attractions, or related experiential projects

Excellent research, writing, and copywriting skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly

Strong understanding of storytelling, visitor experience, and interpretive content development

Creative thinker who enjoys exploring new perspectives and innovative ways to engage audiences

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to engage clients and stakeholders

Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
