About the Team
DoorDash's mission is to grow and empower local economies. DoorDash connects people with the local businesses they care about, helping grow businesses and the communities that support those businesses.
The B2B Marketing team sits as a newly created team within the broader marketing function and is responsible for driving engagement, activation, and retention of Merchants in Australia and New Zealand.
This role would be the first dedicated CRM person, focusing on building personalised, data-driven lifecycle programs that deliver the right message to the right merchant at the right time, across channels including email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging.
This is your opportunity to build something from the ground up, make the role your own, and grow with it. Strong performers will be considered for conversion to a permanent position. You'll report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager for B2B in ANZ and operate as an individual contributor, embedded within a tight-knit team of marketers.
Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, the team partners closely with integrated marketing, Analytics, Strategy, and operations to deliver best-in-class CRM experiences and continuously evolve our capabilities through testing, learning, and innovation.
We're excited about you because you have…
Technical CRM Expertise: Deep hands-on experience building and executing CRM campaigns end-to-end, including complex transactional flows and lifecycle programs
HTML Proficiency: Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot HTML in CRM templates—you don't need to write it from scratch, but you can diagnose and fix rendering issues confidently
SQL Familiarity (nice to have): Some exposure to SQL for data pulls or audience segmentation is a bonus, though not required
Cross-Functional Fluency: Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Product, Operations, Analytics, Strategy, and Engineering teams
Transactional Flow Ownership: Proven ability to build, manage, and optimise transactional CRM flows (e.g., subscription confirmation, renewal reminders, cancellation win-back) with precision and reliability
Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to use behavioural insights, segmentation, and performance data to inform campaign strategy and prioritisation
Subscription, Loyalty Program or Marketplace Experience (advantageous): Prior experience marketing to subscribers or loyalty program members is a plus
Experience navigating ACMA compliance for Email, Push and SMS
You're excited about this opportunity because you will have…
End-to-End Technical Ownership: The opportunity to independently build and manage CRM programs for DashPass, DoorDash's subscription product—owning the technical execution of flows from brief to deployment
Impact at Scale: Responsibility for building and optimising multi-channel CRM campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app, reaching a large and engaged subscriber base
Transactional Excellence: The ability to own and continuously improve the transactional communications that matter most to our subscribers—confirmations, renewals, and beyond
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Close partnership with Operations, Strategy, and Marketing teams to deliver integrated, high-impact subscriber experiences
Strategic Influence: Exposure to growth strategy, contributing to roadmap discussions and aligning CRM initiatives with broader business goals
Continuous Learning & Innovation: Exposure to best-in-class CRM practices and AI enablement, with the ability to stay at the forefront of email, push, and SMS marketing and share insights with the broader team
