We are seeking a reliable and hands on Skilled Labourer/ Workshop Trade Assistant to join a busy manufacturing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, physical work and is confident using hand and power tools. You will work alongside machine operators, assisting with production, material handling, fabrication and order preparation.
Responsibilites
- Assist machine operators with feeding and handling products
- Load, unload and move materials around the workshop
- Use hand and power tools to assist with production tasks
- Measure and cut materials under instruction
- Prepare materials and components for production
- Pack finished orders ready for customers or delivery
- Complete general workshop and manual handling duties
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Follow all WHS and safety procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in a workshop, manufacturing or other hands on environment
- Comfortable with physical work and manual handling
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Good practical and mechanical aptitude
- Reliable, punctual and safety focused
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills
