Based in Somerton, our client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Trade Assistants/labourers to work alongside Senior Tradespersons assisting and operating machinery and power tools.

This is an opportunity for a skilled, motivated and energetic individual to join our client’s growing business. We are seeking candidates that have previously worked in a manufacturing environment and have used power tools such as grinders and drills as well as have had operated various types of machinery.

Rate: Dayshift $40.93 + SUPER + OVERTIME
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm

Skills & Experience required:

• Demonstrated experience working in manufacturing environment
• Ability to use a variety of Hand Tools
• Ability to use a variety of Power tools
• Heavy Lifting - up to 20kgs
• Have a current driver licence and reliable car.
• Commitment to safety
• Be physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks
• Ability to commit to long term work
• Can undergo and pass pre-employment medical check
• Open and clear communication in a team environment
• Forklift licence ideal but not essential
