We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team as an experienced Speech Pathologist!

Speak and Succeed is an NDIS registered paediatric allied health clinic in Caringbah. We offer Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy services to children aged 0-18 years in one-on-one and small group settings. We provide most of our services in our Caringbah clinic, alongside some services in local schools and preschools.

Our team currently consists of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and therapy assistants who provide one-on-one and small group intervention to clients. We also have a full-time admin team who handle all scheduling and billing matters. We are BIG on prioritising our employees, including having a manageable caseload, an abundance of resources available and generous salary with achievable bonuses!

What you can expect from us:

A fun and dynamic work environment! You will be working with a range of clients with your specialised skills as a speechie and work collaboratively with the team to solve problems in creative ways.

Resources! We provide you with a designated company laptop (MacBook Air) as well as access to clinic iPads, online resource-hubs, a fully stocked resource room and our share drive full of soft-copy resources so you don’t have to bring a thing!

Regular team meetings with internal PD opportunities to expand your skills as an allied health professional.

Our kitchen filled with your favourite coffee, tea and snacks for you to enjoy throughout the day, because we know how important staying full and caffeinated is!

Flexibility to suit your schedule! We understand life’s commitments and the need to have flexibility with your work schedule. This permanent position can be full or part-time to suit your needs and our admin team will work with you to schedule client appointments within these time frames.

An achievable work-life balance! While we expect you to work efficiently during your work days, we don’t want you to be taking work home with you after hours. We factor in plenty of admin time so you are able to prep for your sessions and complete any other indirect clinical work within the work day. For our full-time employees, our work week includes a half-day every Friday, so you get a mini-long weekend every week. Our clinic is only open Monday to Friday, so your weekends are always free!

A generous annual professional development allowance and paid PD leave for you to continue expanding your skills in your areas of interest.

Regular mentoring as well as internal and external supervision to support your clinical skills and professional development.

Opportunities for career progression for clinicians who are looking to develop their leadership skills or are looking for something a little more than just their clinical work.

About you:

You will hold a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent).

You will have at least 18 months of experience as a paediatric Speech Pathologist.

You currently hold or are willing to obtain a current WWCC, NDIS Worker Check, and be a member of Speech Pathology Australia.

You need to enjoy working with kids and have a passion to create enjoyable experiences for your clients! Our friendly team is always willing to share inspiration and ideas to help overcome any creative ruts!

You like working with a fun team of like-minded people who enjoy sharing ideas, friendly chats and a coffee (or two) throughout the day.

You have good computer literacy and written communication skills. We utilise digital platforms to store our client data and soft-copy resources and provide telehealth services to some of our clients. We will teach you the ins and outs of our client management system and provide lots of support to get you up and running for any telehealth sessions.

We want you to be a great clinician for the clients you are servicing and a great asset to our team. Understanding and experience with paediatric clients especially in the areas of speech, language, AAC, literacy and neurodiverse populations is preferred, however not essential if you are willing to learn! Our clinic is easy-going, however we do expect professionalism, punctuality and a strong work ethic amongst our team.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

To apply, please send your application via Seek with your resume and cover letter outlining your experience and interest in this role.

To learn more, please call our clinic on (02) •••• •528 or email cai••••@speakandsucceed.com.au.

Please note applications and/or recommendations received via recruitment agencies will not be considered.
