This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction or insurance professional to step into a role where technical expertise, stakeholder management and project ownership come together.
Join a leading national insurer and take responsibility for a portfolio of moderate to major property claims across the Sunshine Coast region. With the flexibility to work predominantly from home, you'll have the autonomy to manage projects while being supported by an experienced Major Loss team.

Who will you be working with?
You’ll be joining a highly regarded national insurer with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer outcomes and supporting its people through ongoing investment, training and career development.
As part of the Major Loss team, you’ll work alongside experienced claims professionals, builders, repair specialists and internal stakeholders to manage complex building projects from assessment through to completion. You’ll have the opportunity to influence outcomes, build trusted relationships and play a key role in helping customers through challenging situations.

What will you be doing?
• Manage moderate to major insurance building claims from assessment to completion
• Create and review repair scopes, estimates and restoration methodologies
• Coordinate builders, contractors and suppliers to achieve quality outcomes
• Conduct site inspections and assess building damage and repair requirements
• Communicate with customers, stakeholders and suppliers throughout the claim lifecycle
• Prepare detailed reports, documentation and technical assessments

What do you need?
• Experience in insurance building claims, restoration, estimating or project management
• Strong construction knowledge with the ability to assess repair requirements
• Background as a Project Manager, Estimator, Repair Coordinator or similar
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and complex property projects
• Strong communication, negotiation and report writing skills
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to manage expectations effectively
