POSITION OVERVIEW
The Cash Supervisor is responsible for the overall efficient and effective performance of the branch (exclusive of road operations)This Role works in with the Cash Room manager to ensure the smooth operations of the QLD depot.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and expectations include, but not limited to:
Efficient rostering of staff considering award conditions
Delivery of customer requirements
Adherence to branch insurance limits
Integrity of cash and company assets
Overall balancing of the branch daily (Note and Coin)
Adherence to data entry requirements (reconciliation, inclusive of foreign Exchange and Banking)
Adherence to all Authentic policies and procedures
Monitors and oversees movement of notes and coin within the branch – Pool Movement
Completes daily branch balance and submits report in a timely manner – Lodgements.
Review cash levels and forecast branch requirements to meet customer expectations.
Ensures daily completion of vault reconciliation to required data.
Drive a collaborative nature with all staff, inclusive supervisors, Line managers and direct reports.
Ensuring communication is always of a respectful manner and tone with all staff.
Participation in regular team meetings, assisting in facilitating feedback from staff.
Ensures adherence to security procedures and security measures.
Ensures adherence to internal and external audit requirements.
Compliance with statutory, legislative, and licensing requirements, including EO (Equal Opportunity), WHS (Workplace Health & Safety) and security.
Ensures proper recording, management, and resolution of customer discrepancies, Inclusive of customer queries when required.
Monitors performance of Cash and Coin Processors.
Effective and timely communication and reporting to management when concerning discrepancies and non-compliance.
Oversee all onboarding staff to ensure that the training provided is aligned with business policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in CIT or high cash usage industries
Demonstrated ability to lead teams.
Advanced literacy and numeracy skills
Data entry/computer skills
Ability to meet deadlines.
Work well under pressure.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment or autonomous as required.
High level of honesty and integrity
This role does require flexibility with hours, to ensure work life balance for all parties.
