Responsibilities
- Manage full set accounts and perform monthly and year-end closing activities.
- Process and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions accurately and promptly.
- Record journal entries and maintain the General Ledger (GL).
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and supporting schedules.
- Prepare and process intercompany billings and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Prepare Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and supporting schedules.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial and management reports.
- Perform variance analysis and account reconciliations.
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for audit engagements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries when required.
- Support compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Assist with SST/GST/VAT matters and tax-related documentation where applicable.
- Support UAT, system implementation, enhancement activities, and finance administration duties.
- Perform ad hoc assignments and other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting operations, full set accounts, month-end closing, financial reporting, and taxation.
- Experience with audit preparation and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis functions.
