The Role

Reporting to the Finance & Administrative Director, your responsibilities will include:

Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting transactions

Performing bank and account reconciliations

Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable

Processing supplier invoices, payments and receipts

Maintaining and reconciling transactions in Xero

Supporting GST and BAS preparation

Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes

Identifying and resolving discrepancies

Providing general administrative support as required

Assisting with inventory management

Working closely with the Finance & Administrative Director

Experience & Skills Required

2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within a manufacturing or start-up environment

Strong hands-on experience with Xero

Excellent knowledge of bank reconciliations

Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Good understanding of GST and BAS

Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies independently

High level of confidentiality and professionalism

Experience with Tradex is preferred

Ability to work under our fixed hybrid arrangement (2 days on-site St Leonards +1 day WFH)
