About the Role

Utilities Traffic Management is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our growing team in Reservoir, VIC.

This is a hands-on role responsible for supporting daily traffic management operations, staff productivity, client service delivery, and compliance across the business.

This position requires someone with strong industry knowledge who can support daily operations and help drive strong team performance while ensuring smooth day-to-day delivery across crews, bookings, and client outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day traffic management operations

Oversee rostering and allocation of traffic controllers to ensure client delivery requirements are met

Manage workshop and yard staff to maintain service quality standards

Monitor productivity, utilisation, and operational output across the business

Assist in monitoring operational costs and identifying efficiencies

Ensure all OH&S requirements, compliance obligations, and WHS procedures are implemented and maintained

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, crews, and internal staff to ensure high service delivery

Support permit coordination and traffic control planning requirements

Lead, train, and monitor performance of traffic controllers

Ensure fleet repairs, maintenance, and equipment management are completed efficiently

Drive customer satisfaction and maintain strong client relationships

Support process improvements and help maintain efficient operational systems

What We’re Looking For
Mandatory Requirements

Experience in a supervisory or operations role within the Traffic Management industry

Knowledge and hands-on experience using Traffio software

Proven experience managing traffic control bookings, rostering, and workforce allocation

Knowledge of traffic management operations, compliance, and OH&S requirements

Additional Skills

Experience managing operational teams and field staff

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Strong understanding of operational coordination and productivity management

Ability to work autonomously while supporting broader business objectives
